ACCOUNT

Accounts and subscriptions

Guidance on account setup, subscription access, using multiple devices and supported systems.

Is an email address required to get started?

No. 82VPN does not require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details secure and avoid staying signed in on public devices. You will need the same account information to access the user panel, retrieve your subscription or submit a ticket.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it?

After signing in to the user panel, open the client and subscription section to retrieve your current subscription details, then import them into the client for your platform. When the route list changes, use the client's subscription update function instead of repeatedly creating identical configurations. If old content still appears after updating, delete the outdated local configuration and import it again from the user panel.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

No. You do not need to purchase again just because you changed devices. 82VPN supports unlimited devices, and the active subscription linked to one account can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. When switching devices, retrieve and import the subscription again from the user panel. Avoid forwarding subscription details through public chat histories or shared documents.

Which operating systems support 82VPN?

82VPN currently supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Sign in to the user panel and open the download page for the client and subscription instructions suited to your system. Permission management varies by platform. If a network configuration permission prompt appears on the first connection, confirm that it comes from the client you are using, then follow the system instructions.

CONNECTION

Connections and troubleshooting

Work through account status, client settings, the local network and system permissions step by step.

The client says the connection failed. What should I check first?

First confirm that your plan is still active, the subscription has been updated and the client has selected an available route. Disconnect, then try another route in or near the target region. If no route connects, quit and reopen the client, then check the system time, network permissions and local network. If the issue persists, submit a ticket through the user panel.

Why does my browser work while a particular app does not use the proxy?

This is usually related to the client's proxy mode or per-app settings. Check whether the app is excluded from proxying, then confirm whether the client is using a global proxy, rule-based proxy or browser-only proxy. After changing the setting, fully quit and reopen the app so it can establish a new connection. Also check any network or region settings built into the app.

How can I restore the connection after my device wakes from sleep?

When a device wakes from sleep, its network interface may have changed, leaving the old connection held by the client unusable. Disconnect manually in the client, then reconnect to the current route. If this happens repeatedly, check whether the system restricts the client from running in the background and allow it to reconnect after network changes.

What should I do if access stops after switching Wi-Fi or mobile networks?

Switching networks can change the local exit path and DNS state, temporarily invalidating the old session. Disconnect 82VPN first, verify that the new network works on its own, then reconnect to the required route. If the client remains stuck on connecting, quit it completely and reopen it. On public networks that require web authentication, complete that process before starting the accelerated connection.

ROUTING

Speed and routes

Route performance depends on the target region, local network and specific use case.

How should I choose a route when things slow down during peak hours?

Choose a route based on the region where the target service is located rather than popularity alone. If performance drops, try another route in the same target region or compare a nearby region. After switching, reopen the content currently playing or transferring so the old connection does not continue using the original route. If the local network is congested, first rule out downloads and weak wireless signal.

Why is the actual speed still disappointing when route latency is low?

Latency mainly measures the time required for a request to travel back and forth; it is not the same as sustained transfer capacity. Your experience is also affected by local access quality, limits imposed by the target service, route congestion, wireless signal and client mode. Evaluate routes using page response, continuous playback and file transfer performance rather than a single latency figure.

How should I choose a route for Streaming or AI Tools?

Start by selecting the country or region required by the target service, then test sign-in, content loading and continued use. If a page opens but a feature is unavailable, clear the service's old session and reconnect. Services use different regional and risk checks, so one route may perform differently across services. Choosing based on the specific use case is more reliable.

How many countries and routes does 82VPN cover?

82VPN covers 100+ countries / 240+ routes. When choosing a route, identify the target region first, then compare the actual performance of routes in that region. Coverage provides more regional options, but access to a particular service still depends on the platform's rules, local network conditions and account region settings.

BILLING

Billing and refunds

A complete guide to monthly subscriptions, data plans, upgrades, payments and refund requests.

What monthly subscription prices and data allowances are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Review your typical usage before choosing a tier; video, cloud sync and large file transfers generally use more data than web browsing.

Do data plans expire, and which options are available?

Data plans remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer to pay for actual consumption. Before purchasing, check the plan page to confirm whether you are choosing a monthly subscription or a data plan.

What happens if I upgrade my monthly subscription partway through the term?

For a mid-term monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted based on the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan and available tiers in the user panel, then submit the change. Afterward, refresh your account status and update the client subscription so the local details match the current plan shown in the user panel.

Which payment methods are supported?

82VPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT. Start payment from the plan page in the user panel, then return to the panel to check the order status. Do not process an order through a payment page forwarded by someone else. If payment is complete but the status has not updated, keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel for verification.

How do I request a refund?

82VPN offers a 60-day refund without requiring a reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page and provide the relevant order details and refund request so the order status can be verified. You may stop using the subscription before submitting the request and should keep the order information in the panel. The refund policy page contains the complete terms.
