Create an account
First, open the 82VPN user panel’s account creation page. Set a username and password, fill in the fields as prompted, and submit the form. No email address is required during registration, so keep your username securely for future sign-ins. Choose a username that is easy for you to recognize but unlikely to be confused with one used for another service. Store the password separately and do not reuse it on common websites.
After submission, being redirected to the user panel or asked to sign in again means the account is ready to use. After signing in, check that the username shown in the top-right corner or account area is the one you just created before choosing a plan. This helps prevent placing an order under the wrong account when switching between browser tabs.
If the username is already taken, return to the field and choose another one instead of repeatedly refreshing the page. If the passwords do not match, enter the same password twice and submit again. At this stage, you only need to complete sign-in; there is no need to look for a subscription link yet. The subscription section may not show complete connection details until a usable plan is active.
Choose a plan and place your order
After signing in, open the Plans page in the user panel. 82VPN offers monthly subscriptions and data packages, which work differently. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages deduct usage as it occurs, remain available until depleted, and never expire. First decide whether you need ongoing service, then estimate your monthly usage rather than comparing only the one-time price.
If you regularly use Streaming, AI Tools or need a continuous connection, a monthly subscription makes it easier to receive a fixed amount of data each month. If your usage is irregular and you want to keep the data long term, consider the ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB or ¥658/3000GB data packages. All plans support unlimited devices, but the same data allowance is consumed by actual usage, so check the remaining balance in the panel when using multiple devices.
After choosing a plan, select its Start option. Check the plan name, data allowance and amount in the order, then choose the payment method actually displayed on the page: Alipay, WeChat or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and do not create the same order again. Once the order status updates, the overview will show the active plan and subscription entry. If it has not changed yet, reopen the overview later to check again.
If you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. If you are unsure which plan to choose at first, select one based on your actual needs; there is no need to move up a tier just for more devices. 82VPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Refund Policy for the application process and scope.
Get your subscription link from the user panel
Once the plan is active, open the user panel overview. Find the subscription or connection information section and use the copy button to get your account’s current subscription link. The link lets the client read available routes and receive later updates; it is not a regular web address and should not be opened directly in a browser. After copying it, keep the user panel open and switch to the client to complete the import.
A genuine subscription link usually contains account-specific identifiers and should be protected like a password. Do not send it in public chats, screenshots or shared documents, and do not submit it to untrusted online conversion tools. When importing, use the link just copied from the 82VPN user panel—not a search result, tutorial screenshot or address provided by someone else.
The address below is only a format example and cannot be used to connect. It illustrates the type of content a client expects you to paste; this page does not provide a static subscription address:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If the pasted content is empty, return to the user panel to confirm that the plan is active, then click Copy again. If the subscription link has been exposed publicly, stop sharing it and request assistance through a user-panel ticket. Do not keep importing the old link onto more devices, as this can expand the credential’s exposure.
Client import by platform
Start by selecting your current operating system in the user panel’s client download section. Both the client and subscription are provided through the user panel; this guide does not host static installer links. After installing and opening the client, locate the subscription import option for your platform. For the first setup, import the current account’s subscription only once. Adding the same link repeatedly creates duplicate configuration entries and can make route selection confusing.
Windows client
Download the 82VPN client for Windows from the user panel and install it. After launching it, open Subscription Management, Configuration Management or an Import page from the sidebar or top menu. Choose an option such as “Import from URL,” paste the subscription link you copied into the address field, and give it a recognizable name, such as 82VPN.
After saving, click Update Subscription. The client will load the route list and show selectable regions in the main window. If the list is empty, check that there are no extra spaces before or after the pasted content, then return to Subscription Management and update it again. Do not paste the link into a single-node configuration form; those fields usually require separate server and port values and are not designed for subscription addresses.
macOS client
Get the macOS client from the user panel, follow the system prompts to install it, and open it for the first time. Some clients appear in the menu bar, with the main window opened from the menu bar icon. Open Configuration or Subscription Management, choose Add Remote Subscription, Import from Clipboard or Import from URL, and paste the subscription link from the user panel.
After adding it, run an update and allow the client to establish a network connection as required by the system. A system permission prompt may be necessary to create the local network configuration. Confirm that the application name matches the client you just installed before accepting. Once the route list appears, avoid running another similar client at the same time so that multiple network configurations do not overwrite one another.
Android client
Choose the 82VPN client for Android in the user panel. After installation, open the app and find the Subscription, Configuration or Profile page. Tap Add and choose Import from Link. Paste the subscription address into the URL field, save it and run an update. Once the routes appear, choose a region and return to the main screen to start the connection.
The first time Android connects, a network connection permission window appears. Confirm it so the client can establish the connection. If the connection stops soon after switching to the background, check the system’s background activity and battery management settings for the client. Menu names vary considerably by device manufacturer; see the FAQ for the specific path. Device-level settings are outside this page’s scope.
iOS client
Check the iOS client instructions in the user panel and use the App Store link provided there to get a compatible client. Open it, go to the Subscription or Configuration page, choose Add Subscription Link, paste the address copied from the user panel, and save it. Then run an update so the client can load the current routes.
When starting the connection for the first time, iOS will ask to add a network configuration. Confirm the client name and allow it to be added, then return to the app and choose a route. If another similar network configuration is already present, turn off the old client before connecting. A successful import means the client displays the regions included in the subscription; it does not depend on whether a browser can open the subscription address.
Connect a route and verify it works
After the subscription update completes, choose a route based on the target service’s region. For content in Japan, start with a Japan route; apply the same approach to other regions. If a route name includes Direct, Relay or an IEPL dedicated line, begin with the client default or the route that best matches your use case. There is no need to adjust protocol settings one by one during the first connection.
After selecting a route, return to the client’s main screen and turn on the connection switch. Desktop systems usually show Connected in the tray, menu bar or client status area; mobile systems show a network connection indicator in the system status area. Once the status changes, wait for the connection to complete before opening the target website or app. Pages already open may retain an earlier result, so refresh them during verification and, if necessary, fully close and reopen the target app.
Check both the client status and the target service. The basic flow is complete when the client shows Connected, the target website loads normally, and the account region or content area matches the selected route. If the client shows Connected but the page still displays an earlier result, disconnect first, choose another route in the same region, and clear the target app’s own cached state.
Confirm that the connection switch is on and that the current route name matches the expected region.
Confirm that you ran an update after importing and that the route list is neither an old configuration nor empty.
Refresh the webpage or restart the app so an old session does not continue using results from before the connection.
Common issues: where to continue
If the subscription will not update, return to the user panel and confirm the plan status and remaining data, then copy the subscription link again. Check that the client import type is Remote Subscription or URL rather than a single-node configuration. You can also switch networks and try the update again to distinguish a temporary local network issue from a client configuration problem.
If the subscription updates but the route will not connect, close any other similar clients that are running, then switch to another route in the same region. System permissions, background activity, old network configurations and local network changes can all affect connectivity. Change one item at a time and verify again after each change. This is easier to diagnose than reinstalling, changing routes and modifying protocols simultaneously.
Account, order, connection, speed and refund questions are organized by category in the FAQ. For protocol choices, mobile resource usage, or the difference between Direct and Relay, read the Protocol and Route Technical Reference. This guide follows only the first-use path, avoiding extra technical settings before the connection is working.
